Currently at the 8 week old mark, meet our lovely last handraised lutino budgie! Just starting to wean and fledge and learn to fly!
They have been handraised from the age of 3 weeks of age on Murphys and are currently still learning and getting better at stepping up but love coming to your hand. They are currently gaining confidence to start to fly but for the mean time they love cuddle up into your face, some kisses (which theyre still learning to control their strength in at times) and some cuddles. Still eating formula twice a day so will not be ready to go home until they finish weaning.
Not DNAd due to being a sexually dimorphic species.
These guys come from a rather intelligent and quirky species. Be mindful to keep them entertained with plenty of toys, swings, seagrass playmats, and room to fly around! (And more swings)
They are on a carefully curated seed mix FFB seed mix and while I urge to also stay on it, Avigrain blue budgie mix is adequate.
They are playful, curious, eager to learn and to earn some cuddle time.
They are a good talking species and they will learn a lot! Sentences, words, and to associate them with what they mean, also. Also capable of a wide range of noises and learning to whistle or sing to songs. Perfect for any ages, a single person or child, or an entire family.
Budgies prefer to have access to the flooring of their cage as they love to forage for fallen seed. This is why you should remove the bottom bars of your cages and also use a safe bedding for your birds.
Theyre on a complete natural diverse diet of
Seed, TOPs and Harrisons pellets,
Native branches, flowers, and weeds
Fruit, vegetable, and sprouts
Budgies should not have access to shell grit at any time. Eucalyptus mulch, aspen shavings, or newspaper (changed very regularly) are all safer alternatives.
Preferred method is cash on pick up.
Cash only sale. Otherwise add GST.
Can be delivered upon cleared deposit and delivery payment. Rest of payment is to be cash upon delivery. If nobody is home to collect the bird or pay the remaining balance and no contact is made or able to be made with you - you will lose the delivery payment and be offered one more delivery date at your cost. A second offence is grounds for complete loss of deposit.
